Full Job Description
We are looking for a candidate with strong all-round experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment or a self starter who has experience with agri or forestry machinery. Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role.
- Managing parts including a high volume of varied components coming in and going out.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of parts; ideally suited to someone from the motor trade, manufacturing, or experience with Agri or forestry .
- Stock Management: carrying out stock counts and taking full ownership of factory stock.
- Training and supervising of our junior members of the stores team.
- Raising purchase orders for consumables and other stock as needed.
- Building good relationships with suppliers and chasing all open orders to ensure they are landed on time.
- Processing warranty claims.
- Liaising with customers to understand technical requirements for parts and preparing dispatch documentation.
- Organising stock efficiently, including the use of software systems to allocate and forecast future stock requirements.
- Proactively organising the stores to maximise efficiency for assembly bay picking and customer dispatch.
- Working in a process-driven manner, maintaining existing processes and continually seeking improvements.
