Job Description:
As a Senior Barista at Tilly’s, you’ll be responsible for expertly preparing and serving coffee beverages, managing daily operations within the café area, and ensuring every customer has a great experience. Your role will involve assisting in training junior staff and upholding the highest quality standards. You’ll be a key part of establishing Tilly’s as the go-to spot in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks with consistency and attention to detail.
- Ensure a welcoming, professional atmosphere for customers and team members alike.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the café area, including equipment upkeep.
- Manage daily operations, including stock checks and ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and mentor junior staff members, sharing skills and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a barista, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Expert knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machine maintenance.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability on weekends and flexibility in scheduling is a plus.
