Lakeside Civil Engineering Ltd, located at Clooniff Lodge, Cluain Duibh, Moycullen, Co. Galway, is seeking to recruit a Steel Fixer. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings, reinforcement schedules and technical specifications; measuring, cutting, bending and assembling reinforcing steel bars and mesh to the required dimensions; positioning, securing and tying reinforcement prior to concrete placement; installing reinforcement cages, columns, beams, slabs, walls and foundations; checking the alignment, spacing and positioning of reinforcement to ensure compliance with project specifications; using hand and power tools and reinforcement equipment safely and efficiently; working closely with engineers, supervisors and other construction trades to complete projects on schedule; and maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with site health and safety procedures. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role. The position offers a salary of €36,605.00 per annum based on a 39-hour working week.
