The Role
Mitros is looking for a motivated Solar PV Installer / Labourer to join our growing installation team. This role is ideal for someone with construction, labouring, roofing, or general trades experience who is eager to learn and build a career in the renewable energy industry. This is a proper, long-term role with room to grow.
Previous solar experience is an advantage but not essential. We provide training and support. You will work alongside experienced solar installers and electricians on residential, commercial, and agricultural projects throughout Ireland.
Who You Are
- Previous experience in construction, labouring, roofing, or a similar hands-on role
- Strong work ethic and willing to learn new skills
- Comfortable working on heights and pitches, with proper fall arrest
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Take pride in clean, safe, high-standard work
- Previous Solar PV experience is an advantage but not required
- Full clean driver's licence
What You’ll Do
- Assisting with the installation of Solar PV systems on residential, commercial, and agricultural buildings
- Loading, unloading, and preparing materials and equipment on site
- Support cable runs and pre-wiring for the electrical team
- Supporting roof mounting and panel installation works
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment - report snags, finish strong
- Working as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard
- Travelling to sites throughout Ireland, with occasional overnight stays when required
