Holy Family N.S. is seeking a reliable, caring and child-centred School Transport Bus Escort to accompany and support pupils attending our Autism Classes on their daily journeys to and from school.
Hours
Monday to Friday – term time only (182 school days)
Morning: 7.00am–9.00am
Afternoon: 1.30pm–4.30pm
25 hours per week
The Bus Escort will accompany pupils safely between home and school, supporting them during the journey, and liaise in a professional manner with parents/guardians, the driver and school staff.
The successful candidate should be warm, patient, reliable and flexible, with good communication skills and an understanding of additional needs. Previous experience caring for or working with children with additional needs would be advantageous.
Candidates must be available for both morning and afternoon journeys and will meet the driver at an agreed location.
Rate of pay: €15.98 per hour, with 8% holiday pay paid separately.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting, occupational health requirements, satisfactory references and completion of the required statutory documentation.
Interviews will be held in person, after school hours, on the week of September 7th.
