We are currently recruiting experienced Urology Specialist Nurses (RGN) to join our agency team for flexible shifts across public and private hospitals in Ireland, including roles within the Health Service Executive (HSE) and selected private healthcare providers.

Job Summary
The Urology Specialist Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with urological conditions including urinary disorders, prostate conditions, bladder dysfunction, and post-operative urology patients. The role includes working in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and nurse-led services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist nursing care for urology patients in hospital and clinic settings
- Manage urinary catheters (urethral and suprapubic) and continence care
- Support bladder assessments and continence management programmes
- Assist in cystoscopy and urology outpatient clinics
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Monitor and manage post-operative urology patients
- Work collaboratively with consultants, multidisciplinary teams, and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with clinical governance standards
- Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital protocols
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in urology, surgical, medical, or continence nursing preferred
- Strong catheterisation and continence care experience
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Up-to-date Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete)
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
