Full-Time Dairy Farm Assistant – Edenderry, Co. Offaly
A full-time position is available on a progressive, family-run dairy farm near Edenderry, Co. Offaly.
We milk 280 cows at peak in a split-calving, year-round milk production system. We are looking for a motivated person with good stockmanship and machinery skills to become part of the team.
The role includes:
Milking and general dairy duties.
Animal husbandry, including calf rearing, heat detection and animal health.
Tractor and machinery operation.
Grassland and feeding work.
General farm maintenance.
Requirements:
Previous dairy farming experience.
Good animal husbandry skills.
Competent and confident operating farm machinery.
Full, clean driving licence essential.
Honest, reliable and able to work on your own initiative.
