Job Title: Ganger / Groundworks Supervisor (with 360 Excavator Licence)

Overview
Sparktel Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for an experienced Ganger / Groundworks Supervisor to join an established team based in the Dundalk area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a small crew of 2–3 operatives on a range of groundworks and civil engineering projects across the North East /Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a crew of 2–3 operatives.
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
- Carry out and oversee all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering activities.
- Operate 360 excavators as required.
- Liaise with Site Management regarding daily progress, materials, and resource requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity on site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Ganger, Foreman, or Groundworks Supervisor.
- Strong background in civil engineering and groundworks projects.
- Valid 360 Excavator ticket/licence essential.
- Full clean driving licence also essential.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required.
