Job Purpose
Control Room Operative plays a key role in supporting the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of operational services across a national network. The position acts as a central point of communication, coordination, and monitoring, ensuring that operational activities run smoothly while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor operational activities and provide real-time support to field teams and operational personnel.

Coordinate communications between internal departments, operational teams, customers, and external stakeholders when required.

Respond to operational incidents, escalating issues to the appropriate management personnel.

Maintain accurate records of events, incidents, communications, and actions taken.
-
Monitor service performance and identify potential disruptions to operations.
-
Assist in the management of route schedules and operational resources.
-
Provide timely updates regarding operational issues, delays, or service changes.
-
Support business continuity procedures during incidents or unexpected events.
-
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
-
Complete administrative duties associated with operational control and reporting.
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments to achieve operational objectives.

Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential

Experience working in an operations, control room, logistics, transport, security, or customer service environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
Desirable

Experience within a control centre or monitoring environment.

Knowledge of incident management procedures.

Experience working in a regulated or security-focused industry
