NORMAL is a young and dynamic Danish retail chain that opened its first store in April 2013. Since then, we’ve grown rapidly and now operate around 1000 stores across twelve markets. Our expansion continues in Ireland, and we’re now looking for a HR Assistant to join our growing team!
As a HR Assistant at NORMAL, you’ll play an important role in supporting our people and helping us build an engaging and positive workplace culture as we continue to expand across Ireland. You’ll work closely with the HR Partner and support a wide range of HR activities across recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and administration.
The role is hybrid and will involve occasional travel as we continue opening new stores across the country.
As our HR Assistant, you will help support the daily HR operations of a fast-growing retail business. You’ll be involved in everything from onboarding new colleagues and supporting recruitment processes to assisting with payroll administration and employee relations matters.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
Supporting recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding
Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring employee records are up to date
Providing administrative support across all areas of HR
Supporting the HR Partner with employee relations matters and HR processes
Helping Managers and employees with HR-related queries
Assisting with store openings and supporting teams across different locations when needed
Maintaining accurate HR systems and documentation
Contributing to a positive and engaging employee experience
As our new HR Assistant, you are organised, approachable, and eager to learn. You enjoy working with people and are comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy and fast-moving environment.
You bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to support wherever needed. You’re someone who takes initiative, communicates confidently, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
