Job Purpose: Retail Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting customers
Pricing of products
Use of the In-House Software
Carrying out any additional duties as required to meet business requirements
Coordinating with supplier and warehouse staff regarding stock availability .
Preparing quotations and processing sales orders
Managing online enquiries and responding promptly to customer requests
Requirements:
Experience working in a professional high-standard retail environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent customer service experience from cash till management to customer interaction.
Highly motivated and innovative.
Work as part of a Team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer proficiency (MS Excel & Outlook)
Friendly, helpful attitude.
Previous experience in a builders' merchants or building supplies environment is desirable but not essential.
