Fohntech Group are currently looking for a number of Electrical Testers to join their team in Athlone. As an Electrical Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of electrical installations in line with national regulations and standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as Qualified Certifier for the verification, inspection, and certification of electrical installations in compliance with IS10101 National Wiring Rules and CER requirements.
- Perform full electrical testing of panels, circuits, fire alarm systems, and live systems in accordance with the technical rules.
- Complete and maintain accurate inspection and test records on prescribed forms of certification and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and company standards on site.
- Safeguard unused certificates against loss, theft, or unauthorized use.
- Support and mentor apprentices, fostering a positive learning culture on site.
Required Skills:
- Formal Electrical trade qualification (Certification required)
- 3-5 Years Experience
- Safepass and Manual handling training
Desired skills / Experience:
- Medium Voltage (MV) experience
- Large scale pharmaceutical or data centre experience
- Electrical testing experience
- IPAF MEWP Licence
