We work to provide assistance with the activities of daily living and at times providing carer relief, making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people & persons with a disability allowing them to remain in their own home.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an inspirational and strategic Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation through its next phase of growth and impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide visionary leadership, ensure effective operational management, and champion our mission with stakeholders, funders, partners, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organisation's strategic plan.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff and volunteers.
- Ensure strong governance and effective engagement with the Board.
- Lead fundraising, grant acquisition, and stakeholder relations.
- Manage financial sustainability and organisational performance.
- Represent the organisation publicly and advocate for its mission.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven senior leadership experience, ideally within the not-for-profit, public, or social enterprise sector.
- Strong strategic planning and organisational development skills.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and governance.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing abilities.
- A passion for our mission and commitment to delivering positive social impact.
- Experience in partnership development, or business development is highly desirable.
