Registered General Nurse
FRS Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a Community Nursing Unit in Achill, Co. Mayo to recruit a Registered General Nurse for a full-time, 12-month agency placement.
This opportunity offers a line of work of long-term, consistent full-time hours within a supportive care environment.
Role: Registered General Nurse

Contract Type: Agency (12 months and beyond)
Hours: Full-time
Roster: Flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends
The Community Nursing Unit provides care for 21 residents and is situated in the scenic setting of Achill Island. Due to the remote location of the facility, candidates must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own transport.
The HSE June 2026 pay scales apply, with salaries ranging from €38,166 to €59,278 per annum, depending on experience.
Applicants must have:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
Eligibility to work in Ireland
Willingness to complete the HSE compliance process
A full driving licence and access to their own transport
Availability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights, and weekends
Commitment to working full-time hours on an ongoing basis
