About the Role
Muttugly Dog Grooming Salon is seeking a Social Media and Digital Content Executive to take ownership of our online presence. This role goes beyond social media posting; the successful candidate will manage our website content, develop an ongoing content strategy, and work on search engine optimisation to help grow visibility and bookings.
We are looking for someone organised, creative, and comfortable working independently, who understands how digital content connects to real business results. We are proudly diverse, gender neutral and welcome applications from any one who just loves dogs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media
Manage day-to-day activity across our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and others as relevant), including content planning, scheduling, and community engagement. Develop a regular content calendar that reflects the salon's work and personality, and respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.
Website Content
Keep the salon website up to date, including service listings, pricing, staff information, and photo galleries. Write copy for new pages, blog posts, and promotional content as required, and liaise with our web developer on any technical changes.
Search Engine Optimisation
Carry out keyword research relevant to dog grooming services in Charlemont and the wider Dublin area, and use this to inform website and blog content. Manage the salon's Google Business Profile and monitor local search performance, making adjustments as needed to improve rankings.
Content Development
Photograph and film grooming sessions and salon activity for use across our platforms, and edit this content to a professional standard. Write captions, blog articles, and occasional email newsletters in line with the salon's tone of voice.
