At Blackstone, we pride ourselves on delivering industry-leading service and support to our customers. Our Cavan branch is a key hub for our operations, and we are looking for a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department and drive operational excellence.
The Role
As the Service Manager, you will be the driving force behind our service workshop and field operations. You will manage a team of skilled technicians, oversee daily scheduling, ensure the highest standards of safety and quality, and maintain excellent relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and mentor the service technician team, ensuring efficient workload distribution and performance standards.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the Cavan service department, scheduling maintenance, repairs, and emergency call-outs.
- Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for service-related customer inquiries, providing accurate quotes, updates, and resolving any issues swiftly.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the department’s budget, monitor KPIs, oversee parts invoicing, and maximize workshop productivity and profitability.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the workshop and all field operations strictly adhere to company health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a service management environment, workshop supervisory, or similar technical leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within the sector [ e.g., agricultural, automotive, plant machinery, or mechanical] is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using service management software, CRM tools, and the MS Office suite.
- Driving License: A full, clean valid driving license is a must.
