Smart Start Afterschool is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Afterschool Assistant to join our team in Killeen National School Co Longford ( N39 K304)
Hours Monday-Friday 1.40-6pm ( 38 week contract)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Support children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Assist with arts and crafts, games, outdoor play and other activities
- Support Children with homework where required
- Prepare and serve snack
- Ensure health safety and wellbeing of children at all times
- Work as part of a team to provide a fun and engaging afterschool programme
The Ideal Candidate must be:
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Energetic and Enthusiastic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not Essential
