We are currently seeking a skilled Accommodation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accommodation services and lead a team of dedicated staff.
Position Overview:
The Accommodation Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hostel’s accommodation services. This includes managing guest rooms, supervising the housekeeping and maintenance teams, coordinating guest check-ins, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accommodation department.
- Supervise, train, and lead a team of housekeeping, reception, and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and excellent service delivery.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or feedback, providing prompt solutions, and maintaining a positive environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all areas of the hostel, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Prepare and manage accommodation budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high service standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, including front desk, to provide seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Stay current with trends in the hostel and hospitality industry, implementing improvements to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in accommodation management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, guests, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage guest concerns efficiently.
- Proficient in accommodation management software and basic office tools.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
