Mullen NextGen Construction is looking for an experienced, dependable and genuinely multi-skilled construction operative to join our small, established team.
We specialise in high-quality house extensions, renovations, attic conversions and structural alteration works. This is a full-time, long-term position for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being involved in different stages of a building project.
Formal trade qualifications are not essential. Practical experience, reliability and the quality of your work are what matter to us.
The work will include:
- Demolition and site preparation
- Groundworks and concreting
- Setting out and constructing house extensions
- Blocklaying and general masonry work
- First and second-fix carpentry
- Timber studwork, flooring, doors, skirting and architraves
- Roofing, insulation and attic-conversion work
- Plasterboarding and internal renovation work
- Finishing and general building duties
- Helping to keep each site clean, safe and organised
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least five years of genuine construction experience
- Can turn their hand to several different areas of building work
- Can work independently when required and as part of a small team
- Has a good understanding of residential construction
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Is dependable, punctual and willing to take responsibility
- Holds a valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate
- Has a full driving licence and their own reliable transport
- Is legally entitled to work in Ireland
