We operate a busy fleet of buses and coaches in the Lusk area and are looking for a reliable, experienced mechanic who can carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Servicing and maintaining buses and coaches
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
- Brake, suspension, steering and driveline repairs
- Preparing vehicles for CVRT and ensuring they meet roadworthiness standards
- Identifying defects and completing repairs efficiently
- Responding to vehicle breakdowns where required
- Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high safety standard
- Working with the operations team to minimise vehicle downtime
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working as a Bus, Coach, HGV or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
- Has strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Is comfortable working independently
- Takes pride in maintaining vehicles to a high standard
- Has a strong understanding of vehicle safety and preventative maintenance
- Is dependable, organised and able to manage their workload effectively
- Holds a full driving licence
Experience working specifically with buses and coaches would be an advantage, but experienced HGV or commercial vehicle mechanics are also encouraged to apply.
Salary: €60,000 per year + company van, tax, insurance and diesel provided.
