Metro Hotel Dublin Airport, a 4* hotel just minutes from Dublin Airport is currently recruiting an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant.
The candidate will convey a positive and professional image of the hotel to both customers and colleagues in an efficient, friendly and helpful manner, while ensuring that all duties are conducted to required standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure that all food and drinks are served correctly, professionally and promptly in accordance with restaurant and bar standards.
- Anticipate guests needs in order to enhance service quality and increase customer satisfaction
- Deliver service consistently
- Deal with any customer queries that may arise in a professional and efficient manner
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Must have relevant experience in a similar working environment
- Must be passionate about food & drinks
- Must have a hands on approach
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and service oriented manner
- Must be aware of and adhere to prevailing legislation in relation to the service of food and drink
- Must be able to work as part of a team in a busy Bar/Restaurant environment
- Must be flexible in relation to business needs
- Must have a good command of the English language
- Must have excellent self-presentation
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be available to work early and late shifts
