We provide reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance, refurbishment and property improvement services across residential, commercial and social housing properties throughout Munster.
Our clients include local authorities, approved housing bodies, property managers and private-sector organisations.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and versatile Multi-Trade Technician to join our property maintenance team.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to an experienced maintenance technician with strong practical skills across a range of building and property maintenance disciplines.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing a varied workload and completing repairs efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
You will work across occupied and vacant residential properties, commercial premises and refurbishment projects, representing Brosnan Property Solutions professionally when dealing with clients, tenants and property managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general property maintenance, repairs and minor refurbishment works
- Complete reactive and planned maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
- Carry out multi-trade works including carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, flooring and general building repairs
- Repair and adjust doors, windows, locks, hinges, handles and associated fittings
- Carry out minor patch repairs and making-good works
- Assist with refurbishment, upgrade and property improvement projects
- Diagnose maintenance issues and identify appropriate repair solutions
- Clearly record and report defects, findings and additional works required
- Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, property managers and office staff
- Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard of workmanship
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction or a similar multi-trade role
- Strong practical maintenance and repair skills
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- Valid Manual Handling certification
- Full clean driving licence valid in Ireland
- Ability to diagnose and resolve general property maintenance issues
- Good time-management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good communication skills
- Authorised to work in Ireland
Desirable Experience
- Trade background in carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling or a related discipline
- Previous experience in social housing or occupied residential properties
- Experience in facilities management or reactive maintenance
- Experience completing property refurbishments and void works
- Own hand tools would be an advantage
