Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote) – ATI Qualified (or Equivalent)
We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This is a fully remote position offering flexible hours (approximately 2.5-3 days per week), with the opportunity to progress into a full-time role for the right person.
Essential Requirements
- ATI qualified (or equivalent bookkeeping/accounting qualification)
- This role is ideally suited to ATI-qualified bookkeepers rather than fully qualified accountants
- Minimum 2 years' practical bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, VAT, RCT, payroll and financial record keeping
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple deadlines
- Strong IT skills and confidence using modern cloud-based accounting systems
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams
- Comfortable learning and using new software and technology
- Excellent communication skills and confident interacting with clients and colleagues via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, telephone and email as part of a fully remote working environment
Desirable
- Experience processing payroll
- Experience using software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, Hubdoc, BrightPay or similar cloud-based accounting platforms
- Experience working in a paperless, cloud-based environment
- Experience assisting SMEs with migrating between accounting platforms and implementing more efficient, modern bookkeeping and financial management systems
- Experience streamlining bookkeeping processes through the use of technology and automation
