Successful applicant must:
Be familiar with and able to follow the National Quality Guidelines for School Age Childcare Services.
Have experience working with school aged children.
- Hold an Early Years Care and Education Qualification (MINIMUM QQI LEVEL 5) (to provide relief cover in the Early Years Service).
- Have experience working in an afterschool service.
- Ability to maintain a high standard of quality and compliance with the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years and School Age Child Care Services) Regulations 2016.
- Be passionate and enthusiastic.
- Have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills and organisation skills.
This is a fixed-term position operating on a term-time schedule (aligned with the school calendar). To ensure consistency for the children, annual leave must be taken during scheduled school closures (e.g., mid-terms, Christmas, and Easter breaks).
