About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Accountant to join our team. This is a varied role that combines office administration with accounting responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office administration and support business operations.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with monthly accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Handle payroll and employee records (if applicable).
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and welcome visitors.
- Organise filing systems and maintain company records.
- Assist with VAT returns and liaise with external accountants.
- Provide general administrative support to management.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in office administration and bookkeeping/accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
