Copley Court is currently recruiting a time Night Porter.
During the academic year our accommodation will be occupied by students attending various nearby Colleges and Universities. Over the Summer months our accommodation will operate as a quality hospitality business providing overnight accommodation for holiday makers, leisure guests, long stay student residents, attendees at University conferences and tour groups.
Main responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Residence Manager the Night Porter will be responsible for for the overall safety of the premises and all residents throughout the night shift.
You will have specific responsibility for:
- To ensure that the highest level of guest service is given throughout the night.
- To complete regular security walks and follow the appropriate reporting procedures.
- To be proactive in ensuring that all Health & Safety and Security procedures are adhered to at all times therefor providing a safe and secure environment for all residents.
- To establish a courteous and helpful attitude towards all residents.
- To carry out various cleaning duties and other general duties as and when required
- To cover reception as required - must be able to check in and check out.
- To ensure a complete & clear handover is done at the end of your shift ensuring all check sheets are fully completed.
You will be required to be a highly motivated person, possessing strong leadership and communication skills
