HGV Multi-Vehicle Driver – Tempka Foods
Tempka Foods is seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Multi-Vehicle Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position covering the North East region.
The Role
As an HGV Multi-Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods to customers across the North East region. You will represent Tempka Foods professionally and play an important role in maintaining our high standards of service.
Hours: Full-time
Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday
Location: North East area
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HGV and multi-vehicle units in accordance with all road and transport regulations.
Deliver food products to customers throughout the North East region.
Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
Ensure goods are handled, transported and delivered safely and efficiently.
Complete all required delivery paperwork and documentation.
Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers.
Ensure vehicles are kept clean, secure and in good working condition.
Comply with company health & safety, food safety and transport procedures.
Requirements
Full Category C driving licence.
Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
Previous HGV driving experience preferred.
Good knowledge of the North East region would be an advantage.
A strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
Reliable, punctual and professional with a good work ethic.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
