This is a Part-time (30 hours per week), on-site role located in Rathmines Dublin 6, we are looking 1 position, an After School patrociner for afterschool aged 4 - 10 years old. You will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment focused on the holistic developmental needs of the children in your care.
Principle duties include but are not limited to:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the AISTEAR Curriculum Framework
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
- Encourage early learning through play, including literacy and numeracy
- Contribute to weekly activity planning
Qualifications & Skills required for this role:
- Experience working in an afterschool environment is desirable but training will be given.
- Familiarity with Aistear Curriculum and Siolta Quality Framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment for children.
- Adequate record-keeping skills, including the ability to maintain accurate progress reports and other required documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with other educators and support staff, to ensure the smooth operation of the service in a way that reflects good standards of care and well-being.
- Good understanding of verbal and written English is essential
Salary and benefits:
The annual salary for this position is between 15.50 to 16.50 and is determined on the applicant’s relevant experience and recognised qualification.
