Gormley Pharmacy Churchtown Dublin 14 has a vacancy for an experienced OTC Counter Assistant to join our team in Churchtown. We require someone who has worked in the irish Pharmacy system and who has an enthusiastic attitude and can provide excellent customer service to our patients.
What you will bring:
ESSENTIAL .
- Previous Irish Pharmacy experience - min 1 year
- Excellent communication, organisation & interpersonal skills
- Positive friendly attitude and ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team
- Excellent English language skills
- Approachable and friendly with a passion to deliver outstanding patient care
- Confident advising on OTC medicines and working in the Dispensary
- Good work ethic, motivated, customer centred
- Leaving certificate education with excellent numeracy & computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft applications
- The right to work in Ireland without restrictions on working hours
What you will do;
- Provide a high level of customer and patient care.
- Provide excellent customer advice through product knowledge.
- Ensure stock is merchandised and retail area is maintained to a high standard
- Support the front of shop pharmacy team and focus on building good relationships with customers
DESIRABLE:·
- Dispensary experience
- · Preferably have completed or are working towards completion of Medicine Counter Assistant/Pharmacy Assistant course
- · Knowledge of Tillsense/ Dispensense pharmacy software system
- No Late night or Sundays
