Civil Foreman/ Supervisor
Due to continued growth, Wills Bros Ltd is seeking experienced and driven Civil Foreman/ Supervisor to join our team across major projects in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role on high-profile civil engineering and structural projects, working with one of Ireland’s leading main contractors.
As Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise site teams, including direct labour and subcontractors
- Plan and coordinate daily site activities in line with project programmes
- Liaise closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Enforce all Health & Safety requirements, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage site resources including materials, plant, and equipment efficiently
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively to minimise delays
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Foreman on large-scale civils/structures projects (Ireland or UK essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering and structural construction methods
- Excellent understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Full clean Irish driving licence
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
