The Imperial Restaurant is a very busy, fast paced Gastro Pub/Restaurant in the heart of Cavan Town. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team for 32-40 hours per week, days off will depend on the needs of the business and evening/weekend work is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests on their arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage daily operations efficiently and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times
- Lead, Train and motivate the floor staff to maintain high standards of service and efficiency
- Oversee the training and development of all staff and new hires
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.
- Draw in new custom and engage with potential customers.
- Take reservations and maintain reservation system.
- Control the flow of the bookings and table allocation
- Work in conjunction with Senior Management to ensure the smooth running of the establishment.
Required Skills and Qualifications: - At least 3 years of experience in an assistant restaurant management role. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Knowledge of restaurant operations. - Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate must be welcoming and friendly with a can-do attitude along with strong attention to detail, have experience working in a team, have fluency in verbal and written English and have excellent levels of personal motivation and confidence.
