About the Role
Kerrigan’s XL is seeking a friendly, reliable Retail Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in keeping a store running smoothly, and can work well in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Restock shelves and maintain store presentation standards
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and inventory checks
- Prepare hot/cold food items (if applicable)
- Keep all areas clean, safe, and organised
- Follow company policies, hygiene standards, and health & safety guidelines
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is required.
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
