Carambola Ltd. are recruiting an enthusiastic person for a part time, term-time position of Hot Food Assistant and Relief Cover, covering schools in the South Dublin Area.
Duties include:
- Working in a school setting to prepare Lunches for the schools
- Days Relief is needed - Travel no more than an hour away covering schools on occasions. Area includes from Tyrellstown to Ballinteer.
- Distribute hot meals daily to children in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Ensure the work area is always clean and tidy.
- Communicating with school staff as required ensuring professionalism and politeness are always exercised.
- Maintaining records and returning them to our Food Safety Manager.
- Carry out any other duties that may be required.
Requirements:
- Full clean category B driving licence and aged between 25 - 63.
- Must have own transport (paid milage).
- Experience driving a medium size van (E.G. Renault Traffic).
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highest standards of personal hygiene, as per the food safety legislation requirements.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Fluent verbal and written English.
- Experience in a similar role desirable.
Days of work are Monday to Friday and are based on the school calendar.
Hours of work are approximately 10.30am to 1.30pm.
