dnata Catering Ireland is one of the leading providers of inflight services to the worlds airline customers. We offer a comprehensive range of Inflight Catering, Onboard Retail and Logistics services across all of the Irish airports.
The Inventory to lead daily stock control and warehouse flow activities across inbound and outbound operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, safe handling, timely processing, and consistent service performance. The role is responsible for supervising team members, maintaining process discipline, resolving stock issues, and driving continuous improvement across receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, dispatch, and cycle count activity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day stock control, goods-in, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and dispatch activity.
- Monitor inbound and outbound workflow to ensure product is received, stored, picked, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Own inventory accuracy processes including cycle counts, stock checks, variance investigation, and corrective actions.
- Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged goods, short shipments, overages, and process failures, and escalate where required.
- Ensure all inventory movements are correctly recorded in warehouse systems and that location control is always maintained.
- Support planning and prioritization of workload to meet operational deadlines, service levels, and labor efficiency targets.
- Coach, guide, and allocate tasks to team members, ensuring clear standards, accountability, and safe ways of working.
- Maintain accurate records for stock adjustments, returns, quarantined stock, and non-conformance issues.
- Work closely with operations, transport, planning, and customer-facing teams to resolve inbound/outbound issues quickly.
- Drive 5S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activity to improve flow, reduce errors, and increase productivity.
- Ensure compliance with site procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety standards.
- Provide shift handovers, daily updates, and exception reporting to management.
- Complete and control Stock Takes as required.

The Requirments
- Previous experience in stock control, warehouse operations, or inventory leadership within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of inbound and outbound warehouse processes, inventory movements, and stock accuracy controls.
- Experience using WMS, ERP, RF scanning devices, and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to investigate root causes, solve problems quickly, and make sound operational decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, organization, and a strong focus on process compliance.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Flexibility to support shift-based operations, peak periods, and changing priorities.
- Desirable: experience with cycle counting programs, continuous improvement methods, and KPI performance management.

Pay: Up to €39,211.38 per year
