Truly runs dental clinics in Ireland and the UK, and Galway is one of the sites we are investing in most. The Practice Manager here owns the clinic: the numbers, the diary, the team and the experience a patient has from the moment they walk in. You report to the regional team and work day-to-day beside the clinical lead.
Get to know the team, the diary patterns and where the clinic is losing time.
Take ownership of the clinic P&L, the weekly KPI pack and the diary utilisation targets.
Tighten compliance so that a Dental Council or HSE inspection is a non-event.
Build a hiring and retention plan with us for the roles the clinic still needs.
Leading everyone on site front of house, nursing and treatment coordination, including rotas, one-to-ones and performance conversations
Clinic budget, revenue targets, cost control and the monthly numbers that sit behind them
Diary management: utilisation, cancellations, recall and the gap between what is booked and what is delivered
Patient experience, from feedback and complaints through to the escalations that need you personally
Compliance across Dental Council standards, HSE requirements, GDPR and health and safety
Working with head office on marketing, recruitment and growth projects for the site
Three or more years managing a team in dental, healthcare or a service business with a busy front of house
Real budget or P&L responsibility, not just reporting on someone else's numbers
Comfortable holding a team to a standard while people still want to work for you
Familiar with regulated environments and the paperwork they demand
Dental experience is an advantage, not a requirement — we can teach dentistry to a strong manager
Performance bonus tied to clinic KPIs
Full-time, permanent, 40 hours a week, based in the Galway clinic
Management development and support from the wider group
Genuine progression: our regional roles are filled from clinic managers
The clinic is open seven days a week 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 6pm on Saturday, 9am to 6pm on Sunday and the team covers it on a rotating shift pattern that you own and publish. Your own role is a weekday one, with the occasional Saturday when the clinic genuinely needs you in. Forty hours a week
Applying
Apply through this listing with your CV and a short note on the largest team you have run and what you were accountable for financially. The process is a phone conversation, an interview with the regional manager, and a half day in the clinic.
