The role
We are seeking a commercially minded and transformation-driven Global Reward Manager to own the design, execution, and governance of compensation programs across a global plastics packaging organization. This role is critical in supporting post-merger integration, driving standardization of reward practices, and ensuring operational excellence in compensation. The successful candidate will bring expertise in global reward strategy, strong change management capabilities, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders across complex, matrixed environments.
Lead the design and implementation of global compensation frameworks that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals
Ensure effective execution of annual reward cycles, including salary reviews, bonus plans, and long-term incentives
Provide expert guidance on compensation, benchmarking, and market competitiveness
Drive the harmonization of reward structures, policies, and systems across legacy and acquired businesses
Align reward programs with the broader integration strategy to support cultural and operational alignment
Ensure consistency and fairness in reward practices across regions
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience in reward operations
Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal audit requirements
Lead change management efforts related to reward transformation and system implementations
Develop communication strategies to support employee understanding and engagement with reward programs in conjunction with internal comms
Partner with HRIS and IT teams to implement and optimize reward-related systems and tools
Act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders on all reward-related matters
Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure local relevance and adoption of global reward strategies
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance, or related field (preferable)
Professional certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) or HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is highly desirable
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
5+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3–5 years in a global or regional role
Understanding of a post-merger integration and harmonization of reward programs
Strong background in total rewards execution, including executive compensation and incentive design
Experience in change management, systems implementation, and stakeholder engagement
Industry experience in manufacturing, industrial, or packaging sectors is preferred
High level of financial literacy, data analysis, and modelling skills
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills in a global context
