Job Title Stock Operative with Forklift Experience
Contract type Full Time Permanent
Reporting to Production Manager
Location Greenfield Foods, Mullandava, Smithboro, Co. Monagahan H18YY33
Pay Terms Wages are paid on a weekly basis
We are looking to fill this position immediately.
Duties Include
- Receiving and unloading of incoming packaging & materials.
- Checking in all goods in with delivery dockets.
- Sorting and placing packaging into relevant area in packing shed using forklifts/pallet trucks etc.
- Regular stock counting, location checks & minimum order checks.
- Transfer of packaging to production as required and return of unused packaging.
- Maintain a clear and tidy work area.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Forklift & pallet truck experience is required.
- Sound general knowledge/experience of store/stock operations.
- Good numerical and literacy skills and must have sound basic IT skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and a willingness to grow and develop with the role.
- Organisational skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction and self initiatives.
- Ability to work well in a team and assist colleagues.
- Knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment an advantage, but not essential.

Working hours
- Loader Operatives core hours are 8am to 4:15 pm Monday to Friday, however, you are expected to be co-operative in working outside these hours if necessary.
- Loader Operatives are required to work Saturdays from 8am –4:15pm (finish) in rotation with the other loader staff (generally one Saturday each month)
- In busier seasons Sunday work may also become available
- Public Holidays – General Operative employees are required to work Public Holidays in rotation with the other store staff
