Senior EHS Advisor – Cork City & County Leading Construction Contractor | Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Senior EHS Advisor to join a leading main contractor delivering projects across Cork City and County. This is a hands-on role with real influence over safety culture, working directly with site management teams on a varied portfolio of live construction projects.
The Role
You'll take ownership of EHS delivery across multiple sites — conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments, preparing and reviewing Safety Plans and Method Statements, and ensuring full compliance with Irish health and safety legislation. You'll also investigate incidents, deliver toolbox talks and inductions, liaise with the HSA where required, and support junior EHS staff.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' EHS experience in construction
- Level 7+ qualification in Health & Safety or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of Irish construction regulations and legislation
- Experience in a PSCS or PSDP capacity is a distinct advantage
- Chartered or working towards CMIOSH (or equivalent)
- Full, clean driving licence
