The Newly Refurbished SpringHill Hotel are now recruiting a Linen Porter to join our team.
This role will require full flexibility including morning shifts, evening, weekend and public holidays.
To be considered for this role you must be eligible to work in Ireland
Key Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, and transport soiled linens from guest rooms and service areas to the laundry facility

Distribute clean linens to housekeeping storage areas and ensure adequate stock levels at all times

Organize and maintain linen rooms in a clean, tidy, and orderly condition
-
Assist housekeeping staff with linen-related requests promptly

Monitor linen inventory and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies
-
Ensure proper handling and care of linens to minimize loss and damage

Operate laundry equipment safely if required (in-house laundry)

Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

Assist with general housekeeping duties when needed
Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage but not essential

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Good physical stamina (role involves lifting, bending, and standing for long periods)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic understanding of health and safety practices
