EPS is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our growing Service & Repair division with a base of Ballyhaunis, County Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wellestablished Irish company delivering essential infrastructure services across the region.

You will be involved in the service, repair, installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment across a range of water and wastewater treatment sites throughout the West and North West of Ireland. The work is varied, practical and technically interesting, with no two days the same.

Servicing, faultfinding, repair and planned maintenance of mechanical plant

Working on pumps including dosing, centrifugal, progressive cavity pumps and associated gearboxes

Installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment on water and wastewater treatment facilities

Working with a variety of pipework materials including PVC, ABS, ductile iron, galvanised and stainless steel

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Collaborating with colleagues and site personnel to deliver projects successfully

Qualified Mechanical Fitter (essential)

Previous experience in the water & wastewater sector or a similar industrial environment (preferred)

Strong mechanical faultfinding and maintenance skills

Good understanding of current health & safety legislation

Organised, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Full clean driving licence (essential)
