Store Manager – Galway Studio

The Role:
As the Salon Manager, you will lead by example, providing coaching, mentoring, and development to ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will be accountable for achieving and exceeding sales targets, monitoring KPIs, and identifying opportunities for growth while maintaining brand standards and service excellence.
We are looking for a highly experienced manager with a minimum of 3 years managing a team of 10 or more in a premium beauty retailer or salon environment, with a proven track record in commercial performance, staff development, and solution-focused leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor store KPIs, analyze trends, and implement strategies to drive revenue and Year-On-Year growth.
- Plan, review, and optimize rosters and staff costs in line with budgets.
- Recruit, train, and develop your team to ensure high levels of service quality, product knowledge, and engagement.
- Conduct staff appraisals, performance reviews, and coaching, addressing underperformance with clear guidance and support.
- Implement conflict management, problem-solving, and solution-focused strategies within your team.
- Ensure brand standards, stock management, and operational policies are consistently maintained.
- Recognize and reward high performers while coaching and developing those needing support.
- Represent the studio professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team of 10+ in the beauty retail or salon industry.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with experience driving year-on-year sales growth.
- Demonstrated leadership, performance management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Solution-oriented, innovative, and capable of building strong client relationships.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams to achieve excellence.
- Understanding of KPIs, budgeting, and financial accountability.
- Passion for the beauty industry and delivering outstanding client experiences.
Desirable:
- Beauty qualifications (not essential), ideally in skincare, hair, or professional beauty treatments.
