As Kitchen porter you will play a vital role in maintaining the kitchen to a high standard of hygiene. Your organisational and communication skills are essential to the smooth running of the kitchen. Team work and the ability to work under own initiative are qualities of the ideal candidate.
A good level of English and flexibility to work around commitments are essential.
We will train you on the basics and once you bring the passion - the possibilities to progress are endless.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carrying out basic cleaning tasks to the our high standards
- Collecting and washing up pots and pans
- Washing dishes, emptying rubbish bins. Clean as you go!
- Taking in deliveries, ensuring we receive the correct items and putting the deliveries away
- Ensuring storerooms remain clean and organised at all times
- Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised
- Be prepared to carry out additional duties outside the general job description
- Ensuring that at the end of each shift, the kitchen is ready for the next shift

- The shift is mainly 7am-3.30pm and there is an expectation to be flexible to also cover late shifts eg. 3pm-11.30pm. Can you work both shifts?
