Supporting the customer through picking, packing and shipping materials in the warehouse while carrying out other associated work in the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving material and checking against paperwork.
- Put-away material to stock locations.
- Ensure all shipments are properly palletized and handed over to correct carrier.
- Safe use of machinery e.g., forklift, power pallet truck, Combi.
- Use of warehouse management systems (WMS), scanners, and other relevant software to support day-to-day operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience in warehousing/logistics is a distinct advantage.
- Comfortable using IT systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and technology commonly used in warehouse environments (e.g., WMS, scanners, basic data entry).
