Kelly's Pharmacy are currently hiring for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare.
This is a full time (40 hours/5 days per week) role, with opening hours 9.30am - 6pm Monday - Saturday (closed on Sundays & Bank Holidays). One in every two Saturdays is required to work.
This role offers the opportunity to join an established supportive pharmacy team. The Dispensary Team currently comprises a Supervising Pharmacist, 3 Support Pharmacists and 1 Technician.

The responsibilities of the role
- Preparing and dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Maintain prescription records
- Patient coubnselling
- Maintain good stock control and order medicines as appropriate
- Deliver strong customer service
- Engage with the PCRS with regard to claims and payments
- Order from the High Tech Hub
- Deal with customer, doctor and supplier queries in a professional and efficient manner.
Essential requirements
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician (IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is a prerequisite)
- Experience working in a dispensary in Ireland is a necessity
- A full understanding of all HSE Schemes is expected
- Experience with McLernons MPS software is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Excellent English Fluency is required.
Pay: From €18.50 per hour
