AMS is currently recruiting for a full-time QA Medical Administrative Assistant. This role is offered on an initial four-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs and the agreement of all parties.
Location: Cork City, Cork
Key responsibilities
- Processing clinical files and data daily using AMS’s internal software systems.
- Creating and proofreading patient reports.
- Providing excellent customer service to customers, clients and patients by responding to telephone and email queries. Our relationships with clients and those who participate in our screening services are of paramount importance to AMS.
- Providing occasional onsite support for clinics delivered at client facilities.
- Filing and archiving clinical data regularly and in accordance with the latest guidelines, with patient confidentiality maintained as a critical priority.
- Completing general administrative duties, including redirecting queries to the relevant departments, managing spreadsheets and rescheduling patient appointments.
- Providing administrative support to colleagues in the AMS Diagnostics clinic.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong customer service skills. Previous experience in a customer service role would be an advantage.
- Discreet and able to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Reliable and dependable.
- A minimum of one year’s administrative experience.
Working arrangements
- Full-time position.
- Fixed Monday-to-Friday working pattern.
- This is an onsite role and cannot be completed remotely.

Pay: €29,000.00-€32,000.00 per year
