Stores & Logistics Coordinator
Patron SVS Ltd is seeking an organised, practical and dependable Stores & Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Trim, Co. Meath.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operation of our parts stores, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods, stock movements, van stock and courier deliveries are accurately controlled and recorded. This is a hands-on role involving close coordination with our service engineers, workshop, scheduling and administration teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect and record all incoming goods.
- Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Report damaged, incorrect or missing items.
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure stores area.
- Record all stock receipts, issues, transfers and returns accurately.
- Allocate parts to the correct work order, engineer, service vehicle, workshop job or project.
- Prepare parts and equipment for mobile service engineers and workshop personnel.
- Carry out regular service-van stock checks and arrange replenishment.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when parts need to be ordered.
- Notify the scheduling team when ordered parts arrive so customer return visits can be arranged.
- Prepare, package and record goods for dispatch.
- Arrange courier collections and maintain tracking and proof-of-dispatch records.
- Identify, label and securely store warranty parts awaiting return to suppliers.
- Assist with periodic stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
- Follow company health and safety, manual-handling and housekeeping procedures.
- Provide general stores and logistics support to the wider service and workshop teams.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, parts, logistics or stock-control role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate stock and delivery records.
- Good computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise work and complete tasks without constant supervision.
- A reliable, practical and proactive approach.
- Ability to safely carry out the physical duties associated with a stores environment.
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable experience:
- Experience in the automotive, engineering, maintenance or service sector.
- Knowledge of vehicle parts, electrical components or technical equipment.
- Experience using a stock-management system.
- Knowledge of warranty-parts return procedures.
- Manual Handling or forklift certification.
- A full clean Irish driving licence.
This is a full-time, on-site position offering a varied and responsible role within an established service-based business. Training will be provided on the company’s systems and procedures.
