Connect Install Ltd is a Dublin-based installation services business established in 2022, delivering high-quality installation solutions across Ireland. We operate a ten-crew-strong team of highly trained and certified installers, experienced across a wide range of sectors and installation disciplines including Balustrades, Cladding Systems, Signage, Modular Systems, Pergolas, Roof Systems, FF&E, Carpentry, POS, Vinyl, Acoustics, Whiteboards, and Interior Finishes.
Due to continued growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking an experience Installer – Balustrade & Cladding Systems to join our expanding installation team.
Role Summary
This role requires a strong combination of technical installation expertise, leadership ability, and site management skills to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will follow daily site activities, maintain strong communication with management and clients, and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Technical Execution
- Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, specifications, and installation plans.
- Install balustrade systems (glass, aluminium, steel, or composite) and external/internal cladding systems to a high standard.
- Ensure correct setting out, alignment, fixing, and finishing of all installations.
- Maintain strict attention to detail, tolerances, and finishing quality.
Health & Safety
- Ensure all work is carried out in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company procedures, and site rules.
- Conduct on-site safety checks and ensure team members follow safe working practices.
- Identify hazards and ensure risks are properly managed and reported.
Reporting & Documentation
- Complete job reports, installation records, photos, and documentation using company job management software.
- Provide clear updates on progress, delays, and site issues to supervisors or project managers.
Equipment & Resources
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Report defects, damage, or servicing requirements promptly.
Flexibility & Travel
- Work across multiple sites nationwide as required.
- Be flexible to support occasional evening or weekend work depending on project requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ on-site installation experience, ideally within:
- Balustrade systems
- Cladding systems
- Façade installation
- Architectural metalwork
- Construction-related trades
- Strong understanding of fixings, levels, tolerances, and finishing standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills on active construction sites.
- High level of workmanship, reliability, and professionalism.
- Ability to lead teams while also working hands-on when required.
- Comfortable using mobile apps or digital systems for reporting and job management.
- Full valid Irish or EU driving licence (essential).
Health & Safety & Qualifications
- Safe Pass (essential)
- MEWP / Working at Heights certification (desirable)
- Manual Handling certification (desirable)
- Strong understanding of construction site Health & Safety practices
- First Aid certification (advantageous)
Right to Work
- EU/EEA nationals must provide proof of right to work in Ireland.
- Non-EU/EEA nationals must hold valid and current permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.

Contract Details
Full-Time Contract of Employment
39 hours per week excluding 30 minute break (unpaid)
Out-of-hours work (OOHW) / Overtime: Time and a half
6-month probation period applies to all contracts
