Job Description:
We are seeking a general maintenance technician to join our facilities management team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services across client facilities. The role ensures that building services, equipment, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The technician will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and support the overall maintenance strategy of the facilities management service while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Accepting tasks through our job management system and ensuring all information is documented within the job.
- Performing general maintenance tasks, including repairs and planned maintenance.
- Conducting inspections on clients sites to identify issues concerned.
- Perform repairs and maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and general building services within competency.
- Ensure tasks are completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
- Providing a high level of customer service and ensure standards are maintained.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the facilities manager and help in resolving these issues.
Requirements
- Strong initiative to assist in building maintenance
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Ability to communicate well with other staff members
- Clean driving licence
- Safe pass preferred
- Manual handling
- MEWP tickets preferred
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar roles
Pay: €17.00 per hour
