We are looking for an energetic, commercially focused Sales Manager – Leisure & Groups to join our team, working across the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel and Joel’s Restaurant.
This is a hands-on sales role with a strong focus on growing our leisure group business, developing new relationships and identifying opportunities to drive additional revenue across accommodation, food & beverage, events and functions.
We are looking for someone who enjoys getting out into the market, building relationships and turning opportunities into confirmed business.
About The Role
Working closely with the hotel management, reservations and operational teams, you will take ownership of developing our leisure and group business while also identifying opportunities across events, functions and the local market.
Key responsibilities will include:

Proactively identifying and developing new leisure group business.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with tour operators, group organisers, travel partners and other key accounts.

Growing existing accounts while actively sourcing new business opportunities.

Conducting regular sales calls, client meetings, site visits and presentations.

Promoting the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel as a destination for leisure groups visiting Dublin.

Identifying opportunities to maximise accommodation, food & beverage and function revenue from group business.

Developing opportunities for events and functions across the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel and Joel’s Restaurant.

Building relationships with local businesses, organisations, clubs and community groups.

Developing creative local partnerships and promotional opportunities.

Responding to sales enquiries and following opportunities through from initial contact to conversion.

Maintaining an active sales pipeline and providing regular updates on activity, opportunities and confirmed business.

Working closely with Reservations and Operations to ensure group requirements are communicated effectively and delivered to a high standard.

Monitoring competitor activity and identifying new market opportunities.

Representing the business at relevant trade events, networking opportunities and sales activities.

Supporting seasonal campaigns and commercial initiatives across both properties.
We are looking for someone who is:

Naturally confident in building relationships and developing new business.

Commercially minded and motivated by achieving results.

Proactive and comfortable generating their own leads and opportunities.

Highly organised with strong follow-up and attention to detail.

An excellent communicator, both in person and in writing.

Comfortable meeting clients, conducting site visits and representing the business externally.

Able to work independently while also being part of a wider hotel and operational team.
Previous experience in hotel sales, leisure groups, tourism, hospitality, travel or a related sales environment would be a strong advantage.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the drive to actively grow the business rather than simply manage existing accounts.
