The Role
You will handle a wide variety of reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and general building upkeep across multiple client sites.
No two days are the same—you'll tackle everything from basic plumbing and minor carpentry to painting, patching, and routine facility checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily maintenance tasks and quick-turnaround repairs across various sites.
- Basic Plumbing: Fixing leaks, unblocking drains, replacing taps/washers.
- Minor Carpentry: Repairing doors, fitting locks, putting up shelving, general repairs.
- Painting & Patching: Touch-up painting, drywall patching, minor plaster repairs.
- General Upkeep: Light replacement, site safety walk-throughs, and upkeep.
- Work independently while keeping office management updated on job progress.
- Maintain strict adherence to site safety standards at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certifications (Mandatory): Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications are essential prior to starting.
- Licence (Mandatory): Full, valid Driving Licence (clean record preferred).
- Skillset: Proven experience in general maintenance, building repairs, or multi-trade roles.
- Mindset: Reliable, self-motivated, and able to troubleshoot on-site efficiently.
- Communication: Professional, polite approach when interacting with client representatives and management.
